Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met by your guide who will transfer you to Mt. Kenya Safari Club, where you will reside.

Day 2: Lake Turkana
Next, you will visit Lake Turkana. It is a vast and ancient lake located in northern Kenya, and its surrounding region is known for its rich fossil deposits.
You will visit the Koobi Fora, and the Petrified Forest. You will also have opportunity to go fossil hunting, and interact with the indigenous communities resident in the area.
Day 3 & 4: Lake Nakuru, Via the Rift Valley
On your way to Lake Nakuru, you will drive through the Great Rift Valley.
The Rift Valley is a vast geological feature that runs through Kenya, stretching from Lake Turkana in the north to Lake Magadi in the south. It’s most famous for its scenic beauty, wildlife, geothermal activity, lakes, and indigenous communities.
At Lake Nakuru, you will see its most famous feature; flamingos.
Millions of these colorful birds flock to the lake to feed on the algae that thrive in its soda waters. You will also see its wildlife (rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes), scenic beauty, and the Makalia Falls. Birdwatchers will find this place a dream, as it boasts over 400 bird species, including pelicans, cormorants, and several species of eagles.
Day 5 & 6: Maasai Mara
Next is what is probably Kenya’s most famous highlight, allover the world.
The Maasai Mara is renown for hosting the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores cross the Mara River in search of greener pastures.
Experience the diverse wildlife, scenic beauty, and hot air balloon safaris to give you a unique perspective of the reserve, with incredible views of the wildlife and landscapes.

Day 7: Amboseli NP
Amboseli is home to a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, and giraffes. It is also one of the best places in Kenya to see large herds of elephants up close. The park is set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, which provides a stunning and iconic backdrop for wildlife sightings and photography.
It is also a birdwatcher’s paradise (with over 400 recorded species), and gives opportunity for various activities like game drives, guided walks, camping, and hot air balloon rides.
Day 8: Tsavo NP
From Amboseli, you will go to Tsavo National Park – one of the largest wildlife reserves in Kenya, known for its vast landscapes and diverse wildlife.
Tsavo National Park is home to the Big Five – lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos – as well as many other species of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and cheetahs.
You will also explore the Mzima Springs; a natural oasis that is home to hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of fish, making it a popular spot for wildlife viewing.
Also within this park is the Yatta Plateau (one of the world’s longest lava flows, stretching for over 290 kilometers through the park) and the Mudanda Rock (a large rock outcrop that offers stunning panoramic views of the park).
Day 9 & 10: Mombasa
Finally, your Kenya highlights trip will end in Mombasa – a coastal city in Kenya known for its beautiful beaches, historical sites, and vibrant culture.
Mombasa is famous for its stunning white-sand beaches, such as Diani Beach and Nyali Beach, which offer a range of water sports, including snorkeling, diving, and kite surfing.
The city has a rich history, with several historical sites, including Fort Jesus, a 16th-century Portuguese fort that is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Mombasa is also a melting pot of cultures, with a mix of African, Arab, and European influences. Visitors can explore the city’s markets, mosques, and temples to experience the local culture.
